Tarik Zerkti from MyBank had the pleasure to be interviewed by Maddalena Libertini from Bancaforte at Salone dei Pagamenti 2022.

Tarik Zerkti, CEO at PRETA, the company that owns and manages the pan-European account-to-account solution MyBank, had the pleasure to be interviewed by Maddalena Libertini from Bancaforte on the occasion of the 2022 edition of Salone dei Pagamenti, Italy’s key event for the Payment sector.

The interview provided a valuable opportunity to look back at 2022 and Tarik Zerkti illustrated the company’s most recent projects and their evolution, with a particular focus on the enhancement of the direct connection model MyBank Gateway, designed to facilitate the onboarding of new participants in the MyBank payment network.

The MyBank Gateway triggered a very positive interest: in about eight months, MyBank saw the onboarding of around 70 new Payment Service Providers from about 20 European countries.

Furthermore, for the first time, the new connection model was adopted by a Payer PSP, Banca Passadore, which rapidly integrated and implemented MyBank in their system, confirming the value provided by the new centralised platform.
