Banca Passadore was among the first in the industry to join the MyBank payment network using the MyBank Gateway direct connection model. What drove this choice?
Indeed, we were among the very first in Italy to adopt the MyBank Gateway, in a way acting as pioneers, and we are very pleased with the integration to this day. We have always focused on digital innovation, with the goal of delivering real value to our customers—without compromising on the solidity and tradition that have always set Banca Passadore apart. The decision to implement MyBank was a natural addition to the range of payment solutions we offer our account holders, enabling Account-to-Account (A2A) payments.
Leveraging our Internet Banking services, we saw MyBank as a particularly effective option and immediately integrated it into Banca Passadore’s Online Channels. From a practical standpoint, the MyBank Gateway interface immediately appeared to us as the best choice in terms of simplicity and functionality. The platform provided by PRETA, the company behind MyBank, allows for a direct and centralized connection to the network, streamlining onboarding and digital payment management through a set of APIs and back-office modules. It also offers a series of additional benefits, which left us with no doubts about how to proceed.
How long did it take to integrate MyBank, and which features of the MyBank Gateway did Banca Passadore’s team appreciate the most?
The integration of MyBank through the MyBank Gateway was truly a lightning-fast experience: in just one to two weeks, thanks to the seamless collaboration between our in-house IT department and the MyBank team, we were able to complete the entire process. Everything went smoothly—from kickoff to go-live—and we’re proud to have been among the early adopters of this innovative connection model.
What we particularly appreciated about the MyBank Gateway was the speed of the technical onboarding, the clarity of the API documentation, and the user-friendliness of the back-office modules for payment management. All of this enabled us to minimize both development and management time and costs, resulting in a highly profitable ROI (Return on Investment).

Which specific benefits of MyBank are most appreciated by your customers
MyBank provides a clear competitive advantage. Our customers can make online payments without needing to use credit, debit, or prepaid cards, which they generally prefer to reserve for physical purchases. This feature is especially valued for higher-value payments, where card limits often present challenges. With MyBank, customers operate within a familiar and secure environment: they log in with their regular credentials to Banca Passadore’s Internet Banking and initiate the transfer as they would for any ordinary transaction, taking advantage of a pre-filled payment form and authorizing the payment without needing to enter the beneficiary’s IBAN.
This is an innovative solution whose immediacy, ease of use, and perceived security are among the most appreciated aspects—whether in B2B, B2C, or payments to Public Administration (such as bills, taxes, and fees).
