#InNutshell: How to pay your bills online with MyBank
Paying your utility bills online: a convenient reality
Today, even utilities such as water, electricity, gas, and environmental service bills can be paid online. Long queues at post offices, as well as the need to visit payment centers in person, are now a thing of the past thanks to the many payment options offered by various providers.
Paying bills online represents a practical, convenient, and simple solution for both consumers and businesses — accessible to everyone, just like making an online purchase.
How to pay a bill online with MyBank
On the payment page within the Customer Area, some providers offer a dedicated button for the MyBank payment method. In this case, after selecting the bill to pay with MyBank, proceed as follows:
– Choose your bank from the dedicated list. You will be automatically redirected to your online banking service.
– Enter your usual online banking login credentials. Immediately, a pre-filled bank transfer will be displayed, already containing the provider’s details, the bill information, and the corresponding amount. No additional data or codes need to be entered.
– Verify the information and authorize the transaction with a click. Within seconds, both the customer and the provider will receive confirmation of the completed payment.
Paying bills with MyBank via pagoPA
Alternatively, it is increasingly possible to pay bills with MyBank through the pagoPA system.
For example, Enel has recently joined the list of payees participating in pagoPA. And it’s not just utilities — TIM also added pagoPA to the available payment methods at the end of 2021 to facilitate payments for both consumer and business fixed-line services.
After logging into pagoPA from the provider’s website using the required identification method, the various payment options available on pagoPA (bank account, credit/debit/prepaid card, and others) will be displayed.
