On the occasion of the 2022 edition of Salone dei Pagamenti, Italy’s key event for the Payment sector, Tarik Zerkti, CEO at PRETA, the company that owns and manages the pan-European account-to-account solution MyBank, had the pleasure to be interviewed by Maddalena Libertini from Bancaforte.
The interview provided a valuable opportunity to look back at our 2022 activities and illustrate our most recent projects and their evolution, with a particular focus on the enhancement of the direct connection model MyBank Gateway, designed to facilitate the onboarding of new participants in our payment network.
The MyBank Gateway triggered a very positive interest: in about eight months, we have seen the onboarding of around 70 new Payment Service Providers from about 20 European countries.
Furthermore, for the first time, the new connection model was adopted by a Payer PSP, Banca Passadore, which rapidly integrated and implemented MyBank in their system, confirming the value provided by the new centralised platform.
