Cassa Centrale Raiffeisen, which has long been a part of the MyBank network, has completed the integration of the account-to-account payment solution through the MyBank Gateway direct connection model.

With the MyBank Gateway, Cassa Centrale Raiffeisen aims to further optimize its processes, benefiting from a simplified communication protocol based on a new set of REST APIs.

Milan, June 18, 2024 – Cassa Centrale Raiffeisen, the central banking institution of the 39 Raiffeisen Banks in South Tyrol, announces the integration of the MyBank account-to-account payment solution through the centralized MyBank Gateway interface, the direct connection model offered by PRETA, the company that developed and manages MyBank.

The migration to MyBank Gateway is part of the effort to simplify processes within Cassa Centrale Raiffeisen, which sees constant optimization of services and consequent customer satisfaction as its primary goals.

Already a participant of the MyBank network since 2013, Cassa Centrale Raiffeisen has long enabled its customers to make payments on thousands of websites and to the Public Administration immediately and securely directly from online banking, using their usual access credentials without any additional registration or sharing of sensitive data with third parties.

Stefan Tammerle, Project Coordinator for online customer channels at Cassa Centrale Raiffeisen, states:
“The integration times for MyBank Gateway turned out to be very fast, and the journey to access PRETA’s services directly was easy, thanks to the excellent support from their team. Moreover, MyBank simplifies our system: we no longer need to send transaction reports, manage the directory, or handle certificates. Of course, having direct access to the service also makes it easier to manage any technical issues or errors without needing to contact the various parties involved in the service offering. Last but not least, MyBank Gateway paves the way for us to potentially integrate the solution as a Seller Bank, which we would like to address at a later stage.”

“The decision by Cassa Centrale Raiffeisen to migrate the management of the MyBank solution to our centralized interface further confirms the added value offered by MyBank Gateway to Payment Service Providers (PSPs) on both the Payer and Payee sides: thanks to the innovative platform based on a new set of APIs, PSPs can indeed benefit from new functionalities and significantly simplified procedures,” comments Tarik Zerkti, CEO of PRETA, the company that developed and manages the MyBank solution.

With this step, Cassa Centrale Raiffeisen strengthens its role as the banking hub and window to the world of the Raiffeisen Banking System in South Tyrol. It coordinates and develops the activities of the individual Raiffeisen Banks in the areas of credit, finance, and services, providing consultancy and operational assistance while respecting the principle of subsidiarity. The network of consultants from the Raiffeisen Banks and Cassa Centrale Raiffeisen of South Tyrol, along with their branches, is available to customers.
